Candidates must have the required degree/diploma and teacher eligibility qualification according to the teaching level:

  • Classes 1–5: Bachelor’s/B.Ed., D.El.Ed., B.El.Ed. or equivalent qualification with CTET Paper I / BTET Paper I.
  • Classes 6–8: Graduation/PG with D.El.Ed., B.Ed., B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. or equivalent qualification.
  • Classes 6–10: Graduation/PG in the relevant subject with B.Ed. or 4-Year B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. and STET Paper I.
  • Classes 9–10 (TGT): Graduation/PG in the relevant subject with B.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. and STET Paper I.
  • Classes 9–10 (TGT Special): Relevant Graduation/PG with B.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. and STET Paper I.
