UPESSC UP Special TET 2026 – Recruitment Details

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj has released the notification for UPESSC UP Special TET 2026 under Advertisement No. 03/2026. The Special Teacher Eligibility Test is being conducted in accordance with the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court for eligible in-service Primary and Upper Primary Teachers and Special Educators (CWSN) working across Uttar Pradesh.

Eligibility & Qualification For Working Teachers: Candidates must possess the prescribed academic qualifications and have a valid eHRMS code. For Special Educators (CWSN): Candidates must have the required qualification in D.Ed./B.Ed. Special Education and valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Approximately 2,500 Special Educators (CWSN) are expected to be covered under the examination process. Age Limit Minimum Age: 18 Years Maximum Age: 60 Years The upper age limit of 60 years is applicable as on 3 November 2026 for contractual/daily-wage Special Educators, as prescribed in the notification. Examination Pattern & Selection Process

The selection/qualification process will be based on an OMR-based written examination followed by certificate/document verification.

How to Apply for UPESSC UP Special TET 2026

Candidates interested in UPESSC UP Special TET 2026 (Advertisement No. 03/2026) should follow the steps below to complete the online application process:

1. Visit the Official Website Go to the UPESSC official portal at https://www.upessc.up.gov.in.

2. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) Candidates applying through the UPESSC portal for the first time must complete the mandatory One-Time Registration (OTR) before proceeding with the application.

3. Log In to Your Account Use your registered login credentials to access the application portal and select Advertisement No. 03/2026 – Special TET 2026.

4. Select the Examination Level Choose the appropriate paper level—Primary Level, Upper Primary Level, or both, as applicable to your eligibility.

5. Enter Required Details Fill in your personal information, educational qualifications, teaching experience, and other required details. In-service teachers should enter their eHRMS code, while eligible Special Educators should provide their active CRR number and RCI registration details.

6. Upload Photograph and Signature Upload clear scanned copies of your recent passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed JPG format and file size:

   • Photograph: 30 KB to 300 KB
   • Signature: 10 KB to 200 KB

7. Upload Supporting Documents Upload the required educational qualification, teacher training, caste, EWS, disability, and other applicable certificates in the prescribed PDF format and size:

   • 50 KB to 500 KB

8. Pay the Application Fee Pay the prescribed examination fee online using Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking:

   • General/OBC/EWS: ₹1,000 per paper/level
   • SC/ST: ₹500 per paper/level
   • Divyangjan: ₹300 per paper/level

9. Review the Application Form Carefully check all the information entered in the application form, including personal details, qualifications, category, registration details, uploaded documents, and selected paper level.

10. Submit and Save the Application Submit the completed application form before 4 October 2026. After successful submission, download and print the final confirmation/registration receipt and keep it safely for future reference.
